Adding elegance and romantic ambiance to any setting, these drip guards (or "nappies" as they were named
in earlier days) protect candleholders and tables from candle wax drips.
All bobeches feature my own original designs and are hand-beaded and created by me personally.
Each design begins with a heavy, full cut, German crystal bobeche (30% lead crystal) adorned with
suspended German crystal teardrops and octagons, and Czech AB crystal firepolish beads.
The crystal facets and aurora borealis finish create a myriad of rainbow colors as they are
illuminated in the glow of a flickering candle flame.
To remove candle wax drippings from your bobeche: Wait for wax and bobeche to cool down to room temperature. Place
bobeche in freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. (Do not place in freezer while hot as this could cause cracking
of the glass components!) Remove the crystal bobeche from the freezer and gently pry the wax from the glass. To pry
was off you may use the edge of your fingernail or a flat, narrow wood stick (like a popsicle stick or manicure stick).
