How do I care for my beaded jewelry?
As with any jewelry, how well you care for your beaded jewelry determines how long the piece will last. A "caring for your beaded jewelry" card will be included with each DabbleDoos order.

Can you add/remove a clasp or change the length for me?
I will be happy to work with you to adjust a certain piece for your specific needs. Send me an email BEFORE making a purchase to determine what changes can be made and whether or not any fee applies.

Who makes your products?
Each DabbleDoos' piece has been designed and created by me, personally. Occasionally, my niece may design/create a piece and this will be noted in the item's description. DabbleDoos "Colorful Creations" are NOT assembled in a factory and are NEVER outsourced.

Can you make me a custom/special request piece?
Absolutely! I love working with individuals to creat a special one-of-a-kind piece. I've met some incredible people and truly enjoy helping them make their dreams a reality. Drop me an email and I'll work with you to create something spectacular and unique...just for you or a loved one!

We have an office event coming up and I would love to have you make a number of beaded lanyards (in the same design) for gift giving. Do you offer a discount?
I have created limited quantity pieces for small company functions, school activities, confirmation gifts, and other special events. Please email me for more information regarding item availability, time required for completion and volume discount rates. Please keep in mind that I personally design and create each piece and completion of your order is dependent on how many pieces you need as well as the availability of components.

How do I use your badge holder necklaces?
You may use DabbleDoos beaded badge holder necklaces for carrying a a vinyl identification card protector or security key card holder; to carry your keys or a cellphone; holding quilting or embroidery scissors; or, with some designs, the necklace can be used as eyeglass holder. Necklaces designed specifically for eyeglasses are listed on the eyeglasses page.

Your badge holder and eyeglass necklaces look delicate...how durable are they?
My lanyards and eyeglass necklaces are created to give the appearance of a fine piece of delicate jewelry but they are actually designed to withstand the rigors of everyday wear. Only the best available, professional jewelry wire is used. This cable-style wire contains 49 strands of stainless steel woven into a single cable and clear coated for durability. The majority of my DabbleDoos's pieces are double crimped and the crimps are hidden with either 14kt goldfilled, sterling silver or gunmetal crimp covers for a smoother more professional appearance.

Why are your items more expensive than some well-known "biggie" stores?
The "biggie" stores purchase factory-assembled items using cheaper, low quality components. Each DabbleDoos "Colorful Creations" piece is individually designed and handcreated by me in my Virginia home studio. I use high grade components with my full attention applied to each piece. Every effort is made locate the best components and, whenever possible, preference is given to USA made products/distributors. Higher grade materials, attention to detail and top quality workmanship may cost a little more than many of my competitors but knowing that your piece will last more than a couple of weeks makes it well worth the price.

Do you offer a printed catalog?
No, many of my items are one-of-a-kind and, although some designs are available in limited quantities, my inventory is constantly changing which makes it difficult to offer an up-to-date printed catalog.
